The research themes of our group fall in the interdisciplinary areas of supramolecular chemistry and functional organic materials. We employ organic synthesis to construct building blocks having specific functionalities and drive their self-assembly through a variety of non-covalent interactions. The optical, mechanical and morphological properties of the self-assembled materials are investigated by a variety of physical techniques.
